There is a well-equipped playground for the kids at the end of Rangiuru Bay. Tarawera Landing Cafe is just a short boat ride away or 5-minutes in the car, along with cycle and walking trails. Plus, Rotorua City is just a 20-minute drive away with ample activities to fill your days.

Please note there is strictly NO BOAT access down the shared driveway for 127, 129 and 131 Spencer Rd or any neighbouring driveways in Rangiuru Bay. Guests with boats will either need to keep them parked at Boat Shed Bay or at the Stoney Point Reserve carpark, situated at either side of Rangiuru Bay. Boat launching is available at both these locations. Guests who require an alternative boat storage option during their stay can call Spencer Lodge, TEL: 07 362 8153, 144 Spencer Rd.

* Due to the close proximity to the lake, guests should closely supervise young children when outside to ensure they are safe around water.
